A clean is a happy bike

The mountains are wet and mud which makes for great fun out there but remember a clean bike is a happy bike.

Make sure that you spray off and lube you bike after every ride, not only to extend the working life of you components but also get to know your bike better, checking for cracks and scratches as you go.  Paying close attention to the suspension fork to help it feel smother on the ride and protect the seals.  Wipe the stanchions down with a Teflon based fork lube to remove fine dirt from the seals. Pump the fork a few times and clean off the “dirt rings” until the stanchions come up clean.

Don’t leave thousands of miles of use between services.  It’s regular care that will reward you with better bike performance and longer life.
